Iraq: Not a war- It's BARBARISM!!

"The war in Iraq is no longer a war, it's barbarism", to quote Jack Cafferty on CNN's Situation Room. I couldn't agree more! What is wrong with the radical Islamists? They say it's all about religion, or land, or the Americans being in the holy land. Do the idiots in Alqaeda even know why they're fighting? It's been reported that a family paid $30,000.00 ransom for the return of their son. A few days later his body was found in a plastic bag. He had been sexually assalted, and hung with his own clothes. WHAT AN OUTRAGE!! How do these animals even dare place blame on "anyone" for anything. They should be stomped on like a bug, and that might be too good for them.

The radical Islamists have truely hijacked a religion. What is it all about? The comment I hear most is if they kill infidels, they go to heaven and get 57 virgins. It sounds more to me like it's all about sex not religion. That's a little surprising, considering how they treat the women that are here! Those people just plain don't have a clue what life and love is about. I should feel sorry for them but I don't. I only feel disgust and anger for these animals that have no respect for human life.

U.S.- Caught in the middle?

Well, three years ago I told a group of friends of mine, I hope Iran, Syria, and everyone else surrounding Iraq don't get together. I don't like it, we're surrounded. Guess I was kinda close, as it seems now.

I think we need some folks in Congress that are good chess players. Knowing how to anticipate, and see the consequences of an action might be a good thing right now.
Another good thing would be term limits for Congress. Those guys, and ladies
have farrrrrrrrr to long to develope strange bedfellows in big business. This is the key
to stopping the power brokers from continuing. A flat tax is another.

Something to look out for now. China, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Talk about strange bedfellows. They "will " in a crunch, band together against the U.S. The outcome? How well do you speak Chinese or Arabic? What kind of shape is your bicycle in? Happy blogging!

Since last post, I received a couple emails. One agree, one disagree. I so far see the republicans aren't jumping up in masses to defend our fearless leader Mr. Bush.

I'd like to mention here that, I believe the U.S. to be the greatest country in the world. We are fortunate to have been born here, or become citizens here. I also believe that our elected officials should vote their conscience on "every" issue that is before them. I see the party line becoming too important to our Congress, and that's not why they are there. They are there to work for the good of all, not just the chosen special interest groups. Those types of issues are at the heart of most of my Blog, and that might take me into many directions. I also see a lot of humor at times in our system. Sooo, happy blogging, and keep those cards and letters coming. Ha ha!

Inflation, recession in the 70's-80's-Has it ever stopped?

It seems that we keep hearing from our government that inflation, and recession are things of the past. I for one disagree. If you look up the word inflation you'll find that it says- inflation- a persistant increase in prices, or a persistant decrease in the power of money. Now, I was an adult through the 70's and 80's, and I don't recall prices or the value of the dollar "ever" going anywhere but up (prices), or down (the dollar) . If anyone out there can show me otherwise, I'd love to hear from you. The government puts out all the reports, and we just sit here and go, yup we're doin ok. We are, our own worst enemy! Government has spent years and years lulling us into creating their best friend -- APATHY. Don't think for a minute those guys and ladies on the hill don't daily say, thank God the American people don't wake up and smell the roses! I think it's about time we should. If we can't see simple things like inflation, recession, and just plain lying by our elected officials, then I guess we get what we apathetically ask for.
Come on! Isn't there even "one" misguided republican out there to debate?
