Should Americans become Isolationists?
The answer to the above question is not a simple one, but one that should be addressed. In my opinion the simple answer is yes, the reasons are not as simple.
As I have mentioned in prior posts, Russia is selling arms to Syria and Iran which is helping supply the insurgents in Iraq, and probably the escalation of the situatiion in Afghanistan. Korea will I believe run nuclear tests soon, as well as Iran in the near future. Chavez and the idiot in Iran are buddying up with Castro, as well as other terror leaders. Where do you think one of the launch points will be at the U.S.? Cuba of course. While we are busy trying to shoot down missles from Iran, and Korea, Cuba launches at Miami and New York, which we probably could not stop in time. It's 90 miles away people!
Should we be an isolated country? Absolutely. If we don't, we can't properly prepare ourselves for what may be devasating attacks on our soil. We should pull 'all' of our factories overseas, re-open them here, put our people back to work, to supply our defense efforts. We should return to being a single United country like we once were, and stop assisting those who want to destroy us.
Bush has succeeded in 5+ years in doing what no other country has done in 200+ years. He has undermined our manufacturing base, created political and social unrest in our own country and several others at the same time, made us dependant on other countries especially a 'Communist' country China, and put our country in a very serious financial crisis. We 'are' going broke here folks.
America become isolated? You bet your ass! If we don't, we will not have an America at all. If you think this sounds far reaching, think about this. Three thousand good Americans were killed on 9-11 by a rag tag group of radical Islamists. What do you think a couple of countries could do if they possess nuclear weapons, while we sit here with no way to manufacture or mount a defense? It wouldn't be pretty.
It's time for the government to protect 'our' country, and let rest of the radical idiots fend for themselves, because without our help, they can't possibly defeat us. I hope it's not already too late to turn around the mess that the Bush administration has gotten us in to. Thanks for reading, Beau.
